With hylOs you can save your content independently from its appearance. The same content can than be published not only in different, arbitrary designs but also transfered to specific, e.g. mobile devices like the iPod.

The standard frontend is based on HTML and flash components supporting you instantly with three different views to the content:

• The hierarchical content view is organized like a tree where the root could be viewed as the most common description of the subject and the leaves as the most detailed information. It is based on the eLearning object structure and generated automatically.
• The linear learning path is defined by a teacher and can be seen analogously to a foil presentation. It represents a behaviouristic approach.
• The self-explorative learning view allows you to search and navigate the textual relations interactively in a constructivist way. The displayed relations between different eLearning objects are discovered automatically by hylOs.
