The hylOs Browser is used to import, structure and manage multimedia objects within the hylOs system. The browser is an inherent part of hylOs and will be invoked, whenever content, e.g., figures and PDF documents as well as movies or other rich media objects, shall be linked or embedded.

The so called Link Favorites gives the possibility of a shortcut to frequently accessed folders. Metadata can be assigned by a comfortable GUI.
